It's gotten to the point for me that once I beat DO which will probably be very soon (Edit yep done), I'm never going to want to play this game again. Anniversary was released in 2007just over a decade after the original Tomb Raider made video game historyto celebrate the resurrection of the series and honor the fans whove stuck around since the beginning.While it follows the same basic storyline as TR1, Anniversary is actually more of a 're-imagining' than a straight remake of the classic. What makes DO "hard" is how unfairly it punishes you if you die.Īnd its not so much a legitimate punishment as it is more a complete and total waste of your damn time forcing you to reply usually buggy segments of the game which are often the reason you died in the first place but worst of all is forcing you to sit through the same damn cutscenes over and over and over again. I'd probably go as far as to say this is the easiest TR game by a milestone. hell the entire game even on harder difficulty is easier than the vast majority of games on easy in all honesty.
